Week 10: 2nd production sprint final week

Hello people,

This week we added the MEGA CLAP.  We also changes some of the UI elements.

Art

In art this week we made and finalized the water shader for our scene and our scene is essentially now completely dressed up.

From feedback and our own experience we wanted to make our items more visible to the players so we added on an outliner.

Our lighting is set up with some major visual issues that we'll still need figure out

As we're nearing the end of this project we also started dressing up the itch.io

Audio

Almost all audio is implemented. Some SFX are still waiting to be implemented but the most important stuff is there. The Steamship now has audio and I also added distant ships to the ambience.

Mechanical Changes:

We have had some important changes to the game feel. We have capped the maximum velocity of the player character to make them less difficult to control. We also have added outlines to the item on the floor to make them more visible and changed the outlines to red when they are thrown. With these changes we hope to keep up the visibility while we are adding more Visual effects. The ship is now adjusted and you can walk up the slopes more easily. Another change is the elevator that now transports the characters to the new area which is located on top of the rest of the map. Some of the changes are also just cosmetic as the animations that we now have for the player walking. The goofjuice has been completely remade and now gives more off a drunk effect instead of just inverting the controls. Next week we enter Polishing so theres gonna be a lot of changes to the game feel but no more new features.
