Week 11: Polish of the game

This week we fixed some bugs added the player UI, some effects  and a pre game lobby. The Pre game lobby lets the players test the different Items and Abilities with out any repercussions.

As this is our final week we've been tying up the loose ends and polishing.

We made the final effects for the ability and to make the crate's look nicer.




We also needed some more UI stuff with a bit more coming soon.

We finished working on the environemnt by polishing the lighting and adding stormy weather effects:



Audio

As we now have 2 scenes I added footsteps for wood to replace the other footstep audio. The old ones are now used in the pregame lobby as neutral footsteps. The dizzy effect now also has its audio but it sounds a bit like a car alarm at the moment so that will be changed in the future.  The water splashes now also should be spatialised. The previous implementation was a bit  prone to bugs so those should be gone now as well. The last big SFX (the special ability) is in the works as well but there are some problems with the implementation so it is not audible yet.
